As I was unable to pick up essential shopping for Mr M and Mr J, I wanted to check that they were both ok.

Mr M had been in hospital for a cataract operation, and was in good spirits, although eye drops every two hours were proving to be quite stressful.

Mr J had managed to take part in a friendly bowls competition at his club, and had come second overall. He was really pleased to have been able to finally leave his flat, get some exercise and socialise with his friends.

It was lovely to chat with them both, as for the last 9 months I have visited them every week, so missed our regular catch up.
