Southwark

Mission

Weeding out unruly brambles

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

On a cold and drizzly morning, Bryon and I met at Mrs P's flat to help her with her garden. The back yard was hugely overgrown with what we think was a bed of roses that turned wild and had taken over the entire garden. After lots of raking and shearing, we found some creative ways to move all the cut off brambles in the bin without getting pricked (too much). The garden looked like a completely different place when we were done! We hope Mrs P is happy with the work we've done and will be able to place new plants in her new-found garden.
