Weed us to victory

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Haringey.

Incredible shout out to Sarah for stepping in last minute to lend her garden expertise here. We took a side of the garden each, and tackled the pesky weeds. The recent rain certainly helped move the soil and roots. We couldn't locate proper tools, in a packed out shed, but there's nothing a couple of knives from the kitchen can't solve.

The final task was to plant a beautiful plant (what else what you do with it?). Some great team work to remove the pot, and reposition some surrounding plants, and the task was done in an hour an half.

Job well done, cup of tea and far too many digestive biscuits to celebrate before running home with both a stitch and a warm fuzzy glow of helping someone out in our local community!
