Mr.S has expected the Ealing power duo Kash and Sevan to sign up. But he got me instead. They had set high expectations with their two missions they did last month.

Mr.S asked me if I have the gloves ready to which I replied yes. He said there will be a lot of work involving hands as I was asked to weed up around the front and the side.

I started pulling the weeds left and right. Most of the weeds were fairly new, so some came off easily. As usual, there were stubborn ones. Mr.S was talking throughout the mission. He talked about his life, banking, and the decisions he had to make to get there, etc. 10 minutes in, I asked for a brush to push the weeds to the side, as Mr.S asked me to leave the weeds to the side. He wanted to let them dry out in the summer than bagging them.

There was a big thorny weed in the middle of the porch, I left it to the end. But Mr.S asked me a couple of times, how am I going to pull that one out? I used the weeds I pulled earlier as an additional layer and pulled the thorny weed out. Mr.S was impressed by my presence of mind and praised me.

After non-stop weeding for 1 hour on the front side, Mr.S, who was happy with how the front looked, asked me to focus on the side as there were large weeds there. They have grown to knee length and I felt satisfied pulling them out.

We then spread out the pulled weeds along the side of the walls so as to not block the car parking. I then put away the cardboard boxes of the new TV that Mr.S bought inside the storage.

You are the only one who came by yourself, all the others came in pairs - Mr.S on GoodGymers visiting him

So far no tools involved. I only used my hands and the brush. With only 10 minutes left, Mr.S showed me his garden and explained to me how Sevan and Kash cut the tall grass. The grasses were dried out and turned into hay. Mr.S told that there were two foxes who become regular visitors and used the grass bed as their own beds. He wanted to push them towards the fence. I tried my best to push them with the brush I'd been using. The hay which is soaked in rain was not moving much.

That's when Mr.S asked if I wanted some tools to move. I tried the rake, but it is of no use. The shovel did the job as it was easy scooping them up from the bottom and moving them around.

After putting the tools back, Mr.S told there is one more. He went to the kitchen and brought me a chocolate bar. I tried to resist at first but took them anyways. The chocolate was tasty though.
