Marta and I visited Mrs G on Saturday to help her with her garden. She showed us first to the back garden, which needed weeding as she had not been able to tend to it since her spinal surgery. We set to work, clearing weeds from the paving, borders and lawn. Although it was not warm, it was fairly sunny... until half an hour in, a torrent of hailstones began to descend out of nowhere! Undeterred, we continued, and the sun returned as quickly as it had disappeared. After an hour, the back garden was clear and our bin bag was full, so we moved to the front garden to start clearing weeds there too. We weren't able to fully complete the weeding there as Marta had to dash off to Lambeth for another mission - her third of the day, and an incredible 150th in total! Mrs G was very appreciative of the work we'd done. She said she is looking forward to GoodGym visiting her again soon!
