We welly got a lot in that bin

On a drizzly Saturday afternoon in Southwark Lucia and I met to help Ms N with her garden. After borrowing a couple of tools from a neighbour we started pulling up the weeds and scooping the leaves into the bin. Half an hour in we started to have our doubts about whether we were filling the right bin and after consulting some of the other bins on the street realised we were going to have to switch things up. The transfer wasn’t quite as tricky as we feared and I made great use of my wellies by getting in the bin to squash down the contents a few times giving us a lot of extra space. With the garden looking tidier we headed off feeling quite a sense of accomplishment.
