Thank you to the group who turned up tonight after a last minute cancellation from our original task, hopefully we will be back at Clothes for Causes soon. Massive thanks for the title for the run report to Marta - inspired!

The biggest shout out to Jenny who achieved the big 200 today, 200 deeds of goodness and we couldn't be prouder! Another pat on the back for her excellent effort at Victoria Park Half Marathon the weekend too.

7 goodgymmers joined together with a steely determination to get some good done in Greenwich this evening. After some frantic discussion over the group whatsapp, the pickers were grabbed by Steve and I made my way to Greenwich to lead the run! After being inspired by the East Greenwich Residents Association, who carried out a litter pick at Maze Hill station the other week and picked up over ten bags of rubbish, we headed over to Greenwich main line station to do our own pick.

It was drizzly and damp and dark, some curious items were found (a pair of pants may be the find of the evening), but the group went above and beyond in the cold evening to get three bags of litter in 30 minutes. We then hot footed it for cheeky hill reps at Point Hill, a nice short and sharp hill where the team did 3-5 reps of a section with a gentle jog back down to me. We made our way back to the college for a quick stretch and to enjoy some chocolates that Jenny brought.

Great work team! Next week is leaderless but don't let the good times stop, Marta is leading the community mission at our new fave in Woolwich - Glyndon community centre.
