Thanks to Louise I was still able to make it this morning! I had a problem with my bike, and then my next option was the metro, which I found out was suspended due to an overhead line issue.

Louise came to the rescue and offered me a lift in her car (we both wore masks!) which I’m very grateful for.

We had a really enjoyable morning helping out at East End Women and their community hub/food bank. This was our 3rd good deed over 5 days. We got stuck in straight away with sorting out and separating all the cardboard and transporting it outside to a container ready for it to be sorted for recycling.

We also did a lot of sorting out the shelves and stacking tins in a very neat and tidy way (I think I met Louise’s high standards!)

There was a lot of chatting whilst also doing a lot of steps, and exercise (I definitely had a good upper body workout!) I’m looking forward to returning as soon as I can.
