In lieu of a school run litterpick it has been playground and beach picks this week! We cleared up someone's beach picnic rubbish at hotwalls and picked small items at our local playground. The best find was definitely "the moon" perhaps it was once a polystyrene ball intended for a Christmas craft but it became a focus for mini astrologers - is it a moon or a dwarf planet? Is the moon bigger than pluto? Is pluto upset at not being a planet anymore? We headed home to hit the books for some planetary home learning inspired by rubbish.

That's brilliant Katie! I love that rubbish can be educational in ways beyond the obvious 🤔
