Norwich

Mission

We fought the grass and the grass won (for now)

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Norwich.

On a slightly cooler (though still hot) Sunday morning, Catherine and I met at Mrs S' house to help clear her lovely garden. A huge, beautiful and colourful space, Mrs S has recently found it a little harder to keep it clear and safe to move around. Which is where we came in!

Today's target was clearing the path of grass and other overgrown plants to make sure Mrs S could hang up her washing safely, without having to worry about tripping up. Though tough work, and very dusty (can we please get some rain??), the mass of oriental grass finally gave way - though not without taking a chunk off of my hand first. My own fault for not using gloves really.

With only two of us, we decided to focus on clearing the path, and leave the rest of the garden for another time (did I mention it's huge?) which can only mean one thing... GoodGym will be back!

Well done! Let us know when you want to come and tackle ours - I think Bill might be old enough...!
