Water you looking at?

This morning, I completed my 100th mission to help an older or vulnerable person; helping Ms I by collecting some bottled water for her.

While I have some misgivings about bottled water, I understand that with everything going on at the moment, it's important to have the things that are important to you.

I was also a bit apprehensive about the brand of water I'd been asked to get - an obscure Turkish(?) brand. But luck was on my side - around 500 metres before reaching Ms I's place, I cycled by a shop and recognised the brand's logo on some pallets in front.

Helped by the lovely staff member of the shop, I squeezed £20 worth of bottles into my various bags. With 52 litres loaded up, I made the unwise decision to take it all 500 metres down the road to Ms I's in one trip. After a long shamble, I got there and was a tad alarmed when Ms I didn't answer - to my relief, a lovely member of staff provided access and helped me unpack some of the water.

I've really enjoyed all the missions I've taken part in so far - some have been easier, some have been harder. Some have had a bit more of a physical or emotional toll, but almost every one had left me feeling like someone's life is better off for it. I remember my first one, I've enjoyed some more unusual ones, and have felt really priveleged to help people in really difficult times. The first hundred have been an amazing part of my life, and I'm looking forward to the next hundred!
