Was good to catch up with the ever cheery Mr H and we ended up having a long door step discussion about marathon running - Mr H admitted that if he'd been a bit younger he would have taken on the challenge, but admitted even in 1981 when the first London marathon took place he'd have been a bit too old for it!

Armed with his short list and cash, I wandered towards his local Morrisons via the busy street market and, for the first time, spotted a blue plaque up above telling me that silent movie genius Charlie Chaplin was born in Walworth - surely some enterprising stall holder is missing a trick by not selling bowler hats and canes...
