This was my first visit to see Mrs J, although she has had plenty of visits from other Goodgymmers in the past. I was in no doubt that she is an animal-lover as there are pictures and ornaments everywhere, especially cats. She no longer has a cat but does have two tortoises. We talked about all sorts of things - life during the war, how Maidenhead is changing, and generally putting the world to rights. She was lovely and chatty, and I couldn't believe that she will be 95 this year!
