GoodGym Haringey kicked off the #GGSuperSaturday celebrations with a takeover of the very popular Ally Pally parkrun.

This Saturday's race saw a whopping 394 parkrunners traversing the North London landmark (just 10 shy of their all-time record) and 8 GooodGymmers marshalled them, scanned their barcodes, tail walked them, and generally, just helped the race run smoothly.

It was a glorious, sunny day and our GoodGymmers clapped, cheered, and whooped the runners through the 5k course and before we knew it, it was time to pack up.

We took some photos and sat in the shadow of the marvellous Alexandra Palace for a refuelling session as we prepared for our afternoon mission. Sarah and Kapil even managed to sneak in a 5k run in search of some mythical samosas and they were indeed amazing - even if Sarah had to put up with a bit of #EverydaySexism to get them. She took it like a champ and the experience gave us ideas to set up a mission soon to smash the patriarchy - watch this space!

With a bellyful of cake and the satisfaction of a job well done, we set off up the hill for a 2k run to our next mission.

Boom!
