Here's what Mrs R of S12 had to say about the mission:

The runners were brilliant. They cut the grass and the hedges and now I can enjoy the garden. They were really nice people. Really chuffed with what they did, they were marvellous. I don't know what I would of done without GoodGym because I couldn't manage the garden by myself.

Mrs R of S12, mission beneficiary

What a lovely Sunday morning for a mission! Mrs R and her husband had all the gear out ready for us, and explained the wanted several hedges trimming and the back garden mowing. Tom set about fixing the back hedge while I handled the lawn.

At the front of the house there were another two hedges that needed tidying up, so Tom worked on those while I gathered up all the bits and pieces left over from our tasks. The job was a fairly quick one. We were soon tidying up and putting the equipment back on the patio. All that was left was a quick sweep of the pavement to tidy up some loose privet leaves, and we were done.
