Dropped in to the nursing home to see Mrs. M. Not much change in her condition but I did manage to get a few smiles and laughs out of her. While I was there, her lunch arrived so I took that as an excuse to go introduce myself to the other Mrs. M (the neighbour) who's recently moved to the same nursing home.

The other Mrs. M was happy to have a surprise visitor and we chatted for 15-20 minutes. She hadn't finished her lunch and told me she doesn't enjoy lamb. I informed the staff who then brought her some sandwiches; glad I said something as there lamb on the menu tomorrow as well! They've now made a note in her file. I then went back to the original Mrs. M's room to find she had dozed off. I said bye (though she didn't hear me) promising I'll be back in the new year :)
