A Sexy Six speed machines ran 8km to and from Wembley to assist the waterways and river trust team, canal clean up! Oh Water-Way to spend a Monday! pow pow

On a nearly there, threat of rain weather night, only the brave come out in t shirts alone and I had 2 of em!! Tabitha and Liz. Joining these brave broads were 'The boys are back in town' Dinesh and Joe and a wee little mouse migrating back west after a stint in the south x x x yay

So after chats we were out on the road, running waaaaaaayyyyyyy way wayyyyy down the High Road towards our destination for the eve which was 2.5miles away.

Of course the random chats continued on from housekeeping to make fast work of the journey, with an ever so enlightening game of - What magical and wondrous job would you do if you could and why?

Of course the bonkers Brent brigade had some hilarious offerings consisting of Drag Queen interviewer, Phillius Fog, Film score creator (not so weird) but this one made up for it - African Dictator merged with Robin Hood (thanks Dinesh...?!??)

The chats got us to task in record time where we met Jack our host and his array of litter picking goodies. His stash of equipment was noooo joke and he wasted no time giving us the low down on the work ahead. Can I say at this point it was the most thorough health and safety briefing we've ever had and in record time as well, because as a Barnet Goodgymer himself, he knew we had to get down to the tasking ASAP!

So we began our 30mins of collecting with the most glorious set of new gloves, reflective vests, picker sticks and bin bag blue lids anyone had ever seen!!! Helloooo this is what you would call luxe litter picking, Brent style!

At this stage I was so happy to have remembered the torches as we needed a well lit path to discover the goodies hidden beneath! And it only took a bit of light thrown over the vast green algi of the canal to discover the treasures of the deep.

These of course included the biggest win of the night - The shopping trolley, which Joe and Dinesh volunteered to pull out, wearing their itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, red and skinny, life jacket thingys.

After the supermarket sweep of the water, it was quick as a flash, last selfies of the night before turning on our heels for a swift cruise-boat home!

Awesome fun had, on our Trolley Dash, tasking for Brent and some miles WE DID THRASH!!

See you next time FIT FAM!

DO GOOD. FEEL GOOD. INSPIRE
