A little rain didn't stop us from heading to our gardening mission on a cool summer morning. When we arrived, Mr S showed us around his expansive garden, taking us along a windy path through roses and lush greenery. The garden had won many awards over the years, but had recently become overgrown since Mr S can no longer take care of it himself.

We set to work pruning back shrubs and trees around the garden to clear the overgrowth from the path and to ensure the plants remain healthy. With a much-welcomed break for coffee and biscuits, by the end of the mission we had lugged off four giant bags of trimmings and uncovered two lovely benches that had been hidden by the overgrowth. We hope that Mr S can enjoy a seat in his garden again.
