Tree's are for lifes, not just for Christmas

Before getting stuck in at Leagrave Park for the community litterpick task, I helped another community initiative to plant some trees at the park. These trees are being planted across the whole of Luton to remember every life lost to covid-19 during the pandemic. There were 40 trees planted at Leagrave Park and I helped to dig holes, plant trees and insert stakes to support the newly planted specimens. I loved helping out and know from speaking to the organiser and park users who past by, how much this means to the local community.
