(Always pay close attention to the full address of the beneficiary to avoid unnecessary climbing of steep hills in the sunshine is the moral of today's mission.)

The mission itself went fine - I'd agreed to call Mr R just before 5pm to confirm he still needed the pickup - he said he did, and the helpful team were expecting me and handed over the bag of medicines. I'd checked how far it was to Mr R's house - it wasn't much further to go on the bike so off I went...within a minute I was in the lowest of gears panting up quite a slope, thinking this doesn't feel right.

At the top I checked my phone, and realised I'd overshot Mr R's block by at least two streets - so back down the familiar hill, turn left and after a bit of cross country navigating through the estate, finally found his flat. Mr R was really grateful for the delivery and probably thought I looked hot and sweaty having just climbed the stairs...he had no idea I'd summited Haringey's equivalent of Mt Ventoux only minutes earlier...
