The food bank in Ladywood was very quiet tonight. Let’s hope there hadn’t been any panic buying going on again, as there wasn’t a lot of food. In all seriousness, The Active Wellbeing Society have been gathering tonnes of food from a great variety of sources since the outbreak began, but they have been appealing for more as there has been not a lot of food to pack in the past few days. It should be rectified soon but it shows how important their work is. Hopefully they’ll have a truck load of food tomorrow.

So everyone just packed what they could, ready to be topped up tomorrow. Fiona was very pleased to meet Helen, who is hoping in the future she will be able to join us for our group runs when they start again.
