Yaaaaawniiiitseeeaaaarrrly! GoodGymmers Abi and Steve met in Maida Vale on a decidedly soggy morning before work to help Mr B and his daughter Louise. They had been waiting on a hospital bed being delivered to his home, but had to dismantle the old bed first to make room for it. And what a beauty it was! A lovely old bedspring frame with some cast steel parts and the original bespoke spanner to loosen the bolts.

Louise was incredibly welcoming and had done everything possible to organise the space, making it quite possibly the quickest, most straightforward task this pair of GoodGymmers have ever done! We carefully took the frame apart and carried the pieces and mattress through to the living room for storage. Louise thanked us and was amazed at how spacious the room had become, ready for the hospital bed to be delivered. Before we knew it, we were back outside in the London drizzle, on our way to work. Thanks Louise, and we hope your dad’s new bed helps him feel better!
