To me, to you…not quite

On a wet and windy afternoon in Hammersmith two runners met to move a bed to the front room to enable Mrs V to come home from hospital. It was the second of a double mission in Hammersmith and Fulham for Abi doing a little tourism from Camden and a little closer to home (who was working from home just two streets away) for Helen.

Once the obligatory check that all drawers of the bed were emptied and using some handy string to ensure the bed will fit in the required gap, it was time to move the sofa to make room. Unfortunately, the sofa proved too big to fit through the living room door so when the extensive pivoting proved unsuccessful, we were forced to move it to another part of the room instead. Luckily, the bed was moved through without difficulty, resulting in a successful removal of the step barrier for Mrs V’s route to bed.

Once the mission was completed it was back to work for the both of us.
