Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Sevan
A very late arrival for a bed move led to 2 GoodGymers begging for forgiveness when they arrived at Mr R's house. Someone - a.k.a. the report writer - had done a bad job of planning the schedule for the day, meaning that they met Mr R's carer 30 minutes late.
"OK, so where's the bed?" asked one, trying to make up for lost time. They were shown the room with the bed and the room next door, where it was going to be stored as a new hospital bed was due tomorrow. With only one screwdriver, the man with the plan (and not the planning) started to take it apart, separating the base parts and the headboard.
Meanwhile, the other GoodGymer was disposing of other items downstairs until the bed parts were ready to be moved. Fifteen minutes in and the pair had successfully relocated the divan. They were so speedy that Mr R's carer forgave them for being late and it meant that the GoodGymers were almost back on track with only 1 more mission to go today.
