Three's Company

Just three for today’s Community Mission clearing a Golcar ginnel of weeds and other vegetation. That’s not to say Rob Riley and myself along with Matt Ellis from Golcar Environment Group didn’t do the work of a dozen GoodGymmers to get the task done. We put some proper effort in and whilst we worked Matt kept us entertained with interesting tales about the local history of Golcar and surrounding area.

Golcar’s ginnel No. 5 was choked with Leeds when we started, but two hours later it was looking pristine, much more accessible and pleasant for local people to use. Kudos to Rob who cycled all the way from Leeds to join us today...top effort!
