Tonight's task was to snow (I mean sow) some seeds for Grow Your Own in Sprowston.

With freezing temperatures, snow in the air and over 10km's to run I was worried I'd be the only one at The Forum... but then I remembered how hardcore Norwich is and we still managed double figures!

Several members of the group did a race at the weekend - Bill, Katy, Mel & Rob did the Honeybell 5-miler and Elizabeth completed the Stroke Association Resolution Run 5km. Well done to all of you.

We did a little warm-up although it was hard to stay warm in these conditions then head out on the long run to Sprowston. It kind of felt like we were going out on an adventure.

When we arrived Mike was there to meet us, the Green House lights were on and it was quite warm in there too. It was at this stage I started to worry that I wouldn't get them to leave again and back in the cold for the return journey.

The team smashed out 25 minutes of sowing seeds for things like Kale, Sprouting Broccoli and Radicchio.

It was then time for the long journey back to The Forum, my aim was to see how many snow flakes I could eat.

Thanks for turning out tonight every one :-)

Next week we have our shortest run yet when we visit My Place Youth Hostel.
