Back in Hounslow Central Mosque, lovely Ruby was waiting for us with gardening tools and food. Yes, food again...

On arrival, we realised how much work had been done in the gardens which were now full of flowers. Ruby had been working hard on it along with members of the community, but she found it difficult to move the task forward and get the garden to look as it does now.

There is still plenty to do, and we focused on two tasks: removing soil to level a patch and remove what was left of a tree, including the roots. That last task was very, very therapeutic.

When it was time to leave, Ruby, as she always does, offered us food to take with us. We kindly refused, since we did not have a way to take the bags while running. However, the Universe had its own plan, and half way back I realised I had forgotten my phone at the Mosque and I needed to go back. That second time, I felt compelled to sacrifice the run for some curry in order to make Ruby happy. I absolutely did it for her because I am that amazing.
