Here's what Mrs S of SW16 had to say about the mission:

Mrs Bahl was happy with the work the runners were able to do in an hour and is able to enjoy her garden more.

Mrs S of SW16, mission beneficiary

Myself and Zoe met on Tooting Common for a pre task run 5km Park Run.

After the run we rehydrated and walked the just over 2km walk Mrs S’s to do a morning garden task.

We were warmly greeted and Mrs S remembered me from a visit earlier this year.

She gave us a list of the tasks she wanted us to complete. Zoe got stuck into weeding the flower beds (full of Silvier and Merrygold flowers) and cutting back the old branches on a bush. I made the short walk to get the lawnmower from Mrs S’s garage.

-Lawnmower plugged in and..... Zoe went into H&S mode when she was worried I was going to take the lawn mower over it’s lead!!!! I am sure I would have spotted that?????

In no time we had two black sacks of garden waste.

A big thank you from Mrs S and we went on our way.
