The Rucksack Cap Crusaders

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bexley.

Two eager GoodGym runners dashed to Ms E's rescue on what was an extremely warm morning.

Gareth turned up frantically scanning the door numbers on each passing door, completely reliant on the Google Maps voice lady to guide him to his destination "when will he learn"! Neil other hand had obviously planned his route ahead & was able to spot Gareth in a blind panic at the bottom of Ms E garden! Neil shouted & guided him in.

We were then greeted by the smiling Ms E who escorted us in & gave us a quick guide of her garden which was of a very high standard - so many beautiful in bloom rose bushes!

Ms E wasn't concerned about her lawn to much as her Flymo was out of action & in need of an MOT but was concerned about one of her glorious rose bushes that had decided to invade the public right of way path next door, so after picking our weapons of choice Gareth & Neil got chopping.

After about 45 minutes of very rough pruning we had completed phase one of our task & the local passers bye where once again able to pass Ms E's house without any nasty rose bush cuts.

So onto phase 2 which saw us attempt some good old fashioned weeding of a small path & flower bay. You could see that Ms E was relishing in having some helping hands around as she to was getting stuck in.

After a quick sweep & tidy up of our tools we where done, Ms E was extremely grateful to us & looked forward to seeing us again.
