Rumour has it that Daubeney fields is and will always be the greatest task in the world.

Last night we were not disappointed as 20 brave souls made their way from GGHackney HQ to shift some Woodchip from a nearby park to the now beautiful Daubeney Garden.

A quick briefing on the wonderfulness that is GoodGym and we were off, a nice steady tempo through some back streets and couple of main roads and we were there.

Greeted by the ever cheerful Gerry we set about our goodness splitting into 2 teams. One team shovelled and the other carried. HARMONY is the term i believe one would use to describe such team work.

With 30mins on the clock we made light work of the huge pile of woodchip that faced us, ferrying and sprinkling, sprinkling and ferrying.

On completion the concrete that once could be seen beneath our feet had now disappeared.

As always we were supplied with drinks and biscuits as fuel for our return.

We waved goodbye and off we went, light to light intervals, some heavy breathing, stretching and lots of hight fives.

Thanks for coming folks, till next time...
