2 faithful do gooders braved the rain and took on some rusty railings at the KORI charity and community centre's children's playground

So the morning after the night before was looking a lot more miserable than we hoped. We could barely see the light for the clouds but a bit of rain was never going to stop GG Haringey from doing good.

Myself and the brilliant Sarah Moore met at the KORI centre. After reminiscing on the previous nights award ceremony, in which GG Haringey won a community achievement award, we got stuck into scraping the old paint from the railing surrounding the children's playground that backs off of the centre. Luckily the rain stopped after around 20 minutes and we chatted while working away happily.

We were then interrupted in the politest of was by my step mother who popped out to give us some fruit and drinks to refresh us after all the hard work. After a quick chat, chomp and slurp we got on with the task at hand. Before long the centre staff came and offered us some to but we had had our fill so kept going until the centre closed. Short after we decided to pack up and leave ourselves.

We will be returning to the centre for missions regularly of a Saturday along with the odd Wednesday eve task as it will take a good while to complete.

Until next Wednesday folks - stay fit do good and look out for the light.
