A very exciting shift at the FoodShare Shop today - a power cut and a labelling job.

Nicolson's Centre had a power cut just as soon as I arrived for my shift. If that wasn't interesting already, the manager told me that having seen the label-and-sorting work I had done in the previous weeks, the big boss of the Foodbank had asked for a label machine to be bought. "This looks so good, we must label everything!", he may have said 😂 Yay for initiative!

I spent the whole two hours labelling every shelf. Plus picked up a new skill - how to use a label maker!

PS: for those wondering, it was quite dark and although the eyes adjusted, I did most of the label making by the windows at the other end of the Foodbank.
