Belinda headed out early to do a course check for Worthing parkrun. Having survived the winds and rain that defeated neighbouring parkruns over recent weeks, surely the cold wont beat us! The icing on the prom became the writing on the wall. There was no benefit in skating around the bush - Belinda made the tricky decision to contact the core team to recommend cancellation.

Decision made, John joined Belinda and some of the hardcore parkrun volunteers to let anyone who had missed the social media postings know of the cancellation. There was general agreement that the correct decision had been made, and genuine appreciation from those about to feed the parking meter....
