The Garden of Eiden

Anita completed a physically demanding day at the Hounslow Mosque helping to prepare the garden area at the back for Eid Celebrations on Friday. Hounslow GoodGym have been helping Ruby Choudry to fulfil her vision to transform the previously neglected areas surrounding the mosque and car park.

A lot was achieved in a single day : 1. Completing a new compost area. 2. Weeding the kerb along part of the car park. 3. Delivering plants donated by Homebase Richmond to the Mosque.
4. Edging one of the lawns to create a bed. 5. Clearing weeds and collecting stones. 6. Litter collection and bagging. 7. Moving mirrors, pot plants and wrought iron gates to create a ‘garden room’ .
