The game of Rake and Ladders

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

Again another job well done. That's right ladies and gentlemen, Carol and David arrived, introduced themselves to Mrs C, they got the ladder out, they grabbed the tools (one being a rake), David got his trusty shears, they put their gloves on and got cracking.

David was up that ladder trimming the front garden hedge like it's never been trimmed before, whilst down on ground level Carol was busy raking up all the branches. They gathered up 10 mighty bin bags full of branches, leaves and a spot of litter picking which included two cans of unopened Scrumpy Jack ..... What a WASTE!!!

Amongst our hard work we were discussing puns for the run report, Carol came up with "In a LADDER of sweat watching you on that ladder" , her suggestion was greeted by a confused look on my face...... the penny eventually dropped after I got home. Next job involving a ladder I'll use that one for sure, thanks Carol.
