Four goodgymers travelled from far and wide to finish tidying up this garden. We travelled by bike, by train, by bus, and by running (of course).

A great start was made last weekend, but there was still a lot to do.

• Lucy set to work on the brambles and small trees with a set of pliers
• Daniel beat back the stinging nettles armed only with half a shovel
• Paul got his inner Poldark on, and cut back the long grass. No scythe to hand, so pair of sheers, and a rake had to do.
• Dave helped picking out the weeds creeping through the path, and bagging up.

In no time at all, we'd filled 10 bags, and it was time to go our separate ways.

Fittingly for this Euro and Wimbledon finals weekend, we kept finding balls hiding amongst the long grass. The final score Football 4 Tennis 2
