Looking good at 50!

On a stunning September evening in sunny Worthing it was a wonderful opportunity for us all to meet up again at St Botolphs Church garden, one of our favourite tasks.

The group moved between areas of the garden all around the church chopping sticks for the bug hotel, pruning, pulling weeds and larger roots too. As ever Rik and Val were super grateful to you all for the hard work and enthusiasm that goes into this special place.

Towards the end of the task we paused for a group pow wow

Massive congratulations to the following

Barbara for completing her first ultra at the South Coast Challenge on Saturday. Many congratulations and much kudos from us all :)

Gillybean has now completed 150 good deeds with GoodGym. A huge thank you from us all especially for all the work you have been doing on your SouthDowns Leisure Project.

Sue now at 84 tasks completed her 50th just before lockdown so we were unable to present her photo frame to her. This changed tonight ! Thank you Sue and heres to your 100 :)

Ricky proudly reached his 50th good deed last week and received his custom made frame to honour this achievement.

Many thanks to John for assisting me the collages. Much appreciated.

To finish the evening some of us went for a 3k run down and along the prom ( including some sprints) whilst others continued beavering away at the task until our return.

With a promise to return one more time before the winter we said our goodbyes.

I love the concept of getting physically and mentally fit whilst combining it with helping others. I run most days.
