The Colour Purple

Another successful Martini Non-ParkRun. Once again everyone threw themselves into the challenge none more so than our worthy winner Vicki, this weeks theme was The Colour Purple and she conjured up 26 items! Excellent work. This does not diminish the fabulous efforts of the rest of the team who as always showed their enthusiasm and sense of fun in their photos.

There were a few discussions on the Group Chat relating to different peoples colour perception and other rule “bending“. These were soon ironed out with our usual humour and gentle leg pulling- sorry Dharmesh 😁😘.

We’ve changed some if the earlier figures there were some who walked/ran and it was considered fairer to separate the run time to make the estimated 5k time as it affects the average.

Thanks to Liz for digging out the Martini Advert to enlighten the youngsters as to where the run title originated. Also for suggesting the new shortened name of Parkini...it could catch on.
