Whilst the rest of the UK seemed to grind to a halt under a soft dusting of snow, we were just very very cold. We didn't hang around for introductions, we just whipped through the health and safety warnings (which normally consists of 'don't follow Pru as she jumps out in to the path of a car') and got running. About a mile later, we stopped in the Bear Pit (no bears present but if there were going to be, they'd be polar bears!) for introductions and a little more of a chat whilst the gang stayed warm jogging on the spot.

After setting off again it was just a short pelt up to the Scrapstore where we met Kelly and were given our instructions - more of the usual cutting, de-boxing, unscrewing and sorting. You'd think that by now we'd get bored of the Scrapstore but far from it - the mobile phone deboxing crew found a cage full of hats and wigs and proceeded to dress up.

Now here's a secret. I always put 25 minutes on my timer at the Scrapstore. At other sites, I put 30 minutes as I know that it won't take long to get everyone ready to run back again. At the Scrapstore however, I have to allow for extra time as our GoodGym gang is always reluctant to leave. I'm waiting for someone to say 'Muuuuum! Do we have to go? You're so unfair!'. Fear not my friends. We'll be back soon.

A steady run up the hill past the hospital reminded people that we're here to exercise as well as dress up in wigs and cargo netting, and we got back to the Folk House for a well deserved stretch.

Fabulous work as always, GoodGymmers! A big and warm welcome to the new guys and a shout out to Chris L who came on his 50th run! I believe that a black t-shirt may be making it's way to Bristol soon.

See y'all soon! Pru
