The brolly and the ivy

Three Goodgymers ran and cycled to Ms R's house on a drizzly sunday afternoon (even with a belly full of roast dinner).

Eva and David cleared the litter from Ms R's back garden while Andy got to grips with an ivy hedge which had spread out onto the pavement outside.

After clearing two bin bags of rubbish from the garden - carefully carried through the house with shoes off to protect the nice new carpets - Eva and David joined Andy to take on the hedge.

Using only the power of brute force (and a bike tool for the particularly spikey bits) the trio tore down three bin bags of ivy, making plenty of space on the pavement for people to pass. Several grateful local residents stopped by to thank us for our hard work!
