On the way back from conservation volunteering, I made another visit to the shore at Prinsted to collect the small pieces of plastic, which can always be found caught up in the seaweed from the last high tide.

This time there were lots of cotton bud stalks, fishing line and tiny bits of blue plastic.

It was heartening to see that on the footpath to the beach there was hardly any dropped litter or cigarette ends - people seem to be trying to keep the area clean. Just wish there wasn't so much rubbish in the sea to get washed up in every tide.
