Here's what Mr L of W4 had to say about the mission:

From referrer: Thank you very much GoodGym and the volunteers who helped Mr L!

Mr L of W4, mission beneficiary

Tarzan and Jane dropped in at Mr L's place as they were swinging through Chiswick. They slid down the ivy vines and found themselves in his back garden. Immediately, brambles slithered up their legs and hooked on to them, giving them no way out. No way to travel onwards to Ealing.

Luckily there was a pair of shears and an edging knife within reach. Tarzan and Jane stretched out their arms and managed to grab a tool each while Mr L, having heard the commotion, looked on fearfully inside. Tools were whirled, cutting the brambles from their legs and their free arms ripped the net of ivy from the ground.

Before they knew it, a pile of cuttings had appeared and their legs were no longer anchored to the ground. Mr L - who was still looking on - opened the back window a crack and threw them some bags. Now that they were free, Tarzan and Jane thought that the least they could do for Mr L was to bag the chopped up vines to leave his garden tidy and less dangerous than when they'd arrived. Five bags were filled and with no vines remaining, Tarzan and Jane borrowed Mr L's ladder to climb back into the trees and swing their way homewards.
