When extendable litter pickers are still not quite long enough to reach the floating plastic bags, there's only one solution: shoes off and wade in!

Jen found herself ankle deep in the Lido lake collecting litter, when the over-curious, territorially-protective swans decided she should exit the water and leave her litter picker and rubbish bag for them to look after.

We cleared a lot of plastic and polystyrene from the water, so despite invading their space, hopefully the swans were grateful for our clean-up.
