7 of us set off bright and early over the water to help out at the BTR Port Sunlight Road Races.

Set in the picturesque Port Sunlight Village, the race series started with a 5k at 10am, the 10k an hour later followed by a kids 1k fun run. A long day for our good gymmers, used to Group Runs with just a half hour task!

We were tasked with handing out goodies of drinks, snacks and shower gel to race finishers and sweets for the kids. Our Char was especially pleased to see all the snacks given out to the grown ups were vegan friendly, although some race finishers said the lentil crisps were little too healthy looking for their liking!

Well done to our hard working team and special shout out to John who completed his 50th Good Deed today and joins the highly elite black t-shirt club.

It was lovely to see you all at the end of the race! Really put a smile on my face when I was feeling exhausted. (I thought the lentil crisps were great by the way..!)

Well done on the 50th good deed John - that's amazing!
