Stringing it along!

I took a Friday lunchtime plog along the adopted section of the canals in Birmingham which we will soon be helping to spruce up (COVID permitting!).

It was a pleasant surprise seeing how relatively clean the canal was despite a lack of litter picking recently except for a few hardy goodgymers! There were of course a few little surprises along the way, including some fireworks, countless festive coffee mugs and even some string, hence the pun!
