An octet of awesomeness used their evening's exercise to help out the fab Friends of Cator Park and their efforts to get a bunch of new saplings topped up with water.

Well water 'bout that!?

First up, we met at the Bridge House, shared our dream candle scents from patchouli to petrol and warmed up (we were pretty warm already...) before making our way to Cator Park.

Pass the buck-et

There we were met by a bunch of buckets ready to be filled up from the stream by a nifty bucket-on-a-rope system. We got stuck in, scooping up water, trying to avoid the fishes and topping up the remaining buckets. We had to deposit the water on multiple new trees and bushes:

🌱 The saplings by the river and road

🌹 The rose beds

🌿 The willow arch

🌲 The holly bushes

When we'd completed the job, we played a quick game of Rock, Paper, Scissors feat. sprints, squats and planks and made our way home.

TREE-mendous stuff everyone
