Lambeth

Mission

Stop. Hammer time.

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

Frances and I met Mrs M on a cold winter morning to help dismantle and move a bed.

We were both sceptical when we were told we wouldn't need any screwdrivers or allen keys for the mission. Mrs M directed us upstairs and said all we would need was a hammer.

With a bit of lateral thinking and some strong hammering by Frances, we found that the bed slipped into four pieces with ease. We ferried it all downstairs and into the garage.

We were done and dusted in 15 minutes, a new record for me on Goodgym furniture tasks! Mrs M was pleased; we hope her husband makes it home soon.
