Meanwhile in Westminster 16 of you lovelies headed south for the evening for our monthly spring-cleaning session at the oldest youth centre in the world, the wonderful and amazing St Andrews in Victoria.

A few newbies joined us so we told them all about GoodGym, the runs, the tasks, the missions, the races and of course the lovely opportunities to be paired with an older person.

Post briefing we set off through the capital at a steady pace with a few drills and speed work on the way to spice things up a little.

We arrived panting and sweating BUT safe and ready for the task at hand.

Due to the large numbers our spring clean was finished in noooooo time at all, everything was SPOTLESS which of course gave us time for a workout in the community gym which local young people can access for £25 per year.

We managed to knock out 10 minutes worth of core with a plank off to finish off. We completed our evening’s events with a tour of the facilities which show cased how important the work that St Andrews do is.

A quick sip of water and we were on our way, one group went short, one group went long but both groups attacked the hills with smiles on their faces and sweat in their eyes. This is the life of a GoodGymer.

Hopefully you alllll enjoyed and will be back next week ready and willing smile and sweat once again lol…
