And spring brings hope! It has been a mild day today, the first daffodils are blooming, spring must be around the corner. Mrs J, whom I went to see this afternoon, is definitely feeling more positive and looking forward to regaining her mobility. The doctor tells her that he'll see her walking again, just with the stick. She's got exercises to do and is going to physio and she is in a much better place than the last time I saw her, just before Christmas last year. She told me about the foreign places she and her husband went to see, usually something that interested them, rather than just a holiday. They went to Canada to meet her pen pal, to Cyprus where her husband served in the army, to Egypt to see the Pyramids and the Valley of the Kings and to USA to NASA. This is pretty impressive, she'll have to tell me more about her travels! Mrs J loves chatting and appreciates our social visits very much. Let's hope that more of us will join in and do it.
