Smash & Bag
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Mercato Metropolitano in Southwark.

On Wednesday, Marta - walking all the way over from GG Greenwich - and I met at Mercato Metropolitano near Elephant & Castle to pack up some food parcels for the local community. We lost no time in bagging up donated packets of pasta, cans of tuna, Italian beans, fresh eggs and a variety of fresh vegetables (with bread and milk to be added tomorrow just before they are handed out). In fact, we were so speedy that rather than the allocated two hours, we smashed it in just 30 minutes! The organisers are really grateful for GG support. Good luck to the GoodGymmers who will be back there next week on Monday & on Wednesday for more smash & bag.
